The countdown is on. Only 3 days left until Kayla starts Pre-k. As if I need to be reminded her teacher and aide came by last week for a visit and brought her a countdown paper. Everyday she adds a pawprint sticker until she becomes a "Pup". She is so very excited and that makes me a little less apprehensive. I know she's ready and is going to love it. Friday we went to the school for info day. The kids had a scavenger hunt to go on to familiarize them with the room.

If anything makes me look forward to sending Kayla to school it is her teacher. It may have seemed coincidental at the time but it is no accident that this wonderful lady came into our life! Since meeting her a couple of years ago I have been praying that it would work out for Kayla to be in her class. I have so much respect for her personally and professionally and I thank God everyday that this is the person and experience that will begin Kayla's school career!
